A Message from Peter:
"I offer the following "Pearls" I have collected on my
life journey:
Collaborate
- It means, play, experiment, communicate and forge relationships. Look
for solutions to problems as a group rather than as an individual. Use
technology to amplify the result. Collaboration is premised on the
notion that there is a greater individual gain to share their ideas and
knowledge, than to try and keep it all to yourself.
Community
- Communities are making a comeback, and for very good reasons. When we
unite as a community we magnify our ability to generate results. Our
community is our workplace and as such we should seek to engage each
other with respect and dignity. We all work for each other.
Pay it
forward
- It is in our interests to assist others in an altruistic way. Believe
it or not, the universe is wired just that way. The more you help
others, the more positive things come back to you ten fold.
Courage
- An old RAF officer I knew as a boy used to say to us "Get Involved". I
didn't quite understand it at the time, but now I know it takes real
courage to step up and be a part of something that you feel passionate
about, whether it be your work, politics, family, business or whatever.
"Getting Involved" means opening up yourself to mistakes, learning from
those mistakes, and moving forward. That takes courage of the purest
kind."
